Building a Fairy Tale: The Role of Images in the Acquisition of the Lalique Collection of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum

Patrícia Ferrari was born in 1994 in Portugal. In 2016 she earned a bachelor's degree in History of Art (FLUL, Lisbon), followed by a master's degree in Art Markets in 2018 (ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon) with the dissertation "René Lalique: the Artist, the Mystic and the Entrepeneur". Since 2020, she is a doctoral student in History of Art at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, where she is developing a research project on the main collectors of René Lalique, which was awarded with a doctoral fellowship from the Foundation for Science and Technology.
