Publishing the Poème de l’âme: Félix Thiollier (1842-1914) to the Rescue of Louis Janmot

Clément Paradis (ECLLA) holds a PhD in aesthetics, and teaches aesthetics and theory of photography at University Paris 8 and UJM Saint-Étienne. His thesis, defended in 2020, analyses the editions of French photographer Félix Thiollier (1842-1914). He is also the editor of the Correspondance artistique (1826-1892) of pre-symbolist painter Louis Janmot (éditions Classiques Garnier, 2019-2021) and writes regularly on the links between aesthetics and politics for publications such as Focales and the Cahiers de l'ARIP.
